I wrote a similar post in 2018 on why you should hire a wedding videographer, and thought I should make a follow up post!
The number one thing I hear from couples who only hired a photographer for their big day, is that they wish they had hired a videographer. You only have one wedding, so you definitely don't want to go without a videographer!
You can't listen to your photographs. Yes, photography is usually a top priority on a wedding day and I totally understand that! I know some amazing photographers I can recommend as well if you're in the market. But a photograph doesn't capture the sound from your ceremony or the words your future spouse says when they see you for the first time. Photographs can capture emotion, and so do videos, but they also capture the audio which makes it even more impactful!
It's also important to have as you get more of a moment in a video. A photograph captures a moment in time, whereas the video captures the whole thing, whether it's your full ceremony, the first look, the first dance, parent dances, speeches. We are always capturing those moments in full so if you want a full edit of these formalities, we are able to do so!
Your day flies by, but by having a wedding video, it ensures you don't miss a moment! (even if you did on the big day!). Our goal is to capture all of your important moments and the in between! Smiles or laughs from grandma. A sick dance move from dad. A beautiful sunset with your and yours silhouetted against it.
